Ubuntu is a computer operating system based on the Debian Linux distribution and distributed as free and open source software, using its own desktop environment. It is named after the Southern African philosophy of Ubuntu ("humanity towards others").

      The Ubuntu 12.10 (Quantal Quetzal) as name given by its developers, have amazing home page when compared with win 7, and beautiful in lining of silver interface and numerous inbound (or) hidden applications one would love to have it.

      I installed on the my Com and loved the interface and their inbuilt functionality and dozens of apps to look out for.

The  beautiful home page which they called "Unity" has been good to use for new  and experience user's. The new desktop background has stunning images and lots of other functionality to watch out for.
